Inanda Country Base allows ticket holders to exercise their horses

As many of you may know, ICB recently opened our gates for Club members to come and exercise their horses and walk their dogs. Non members have been very eager to come make use of the amazing Inanda Country Base.  We are now ready and excited to welcome ticket holders to come and hack out at ICB – of course we will continue to be strict with procedures and number control.  It is very important for each rider to know the procedure and please stick to the rules – those who do not comply will be refused entrance with no exceptions.

The rules:

  • Entry for non members is strictly by ticket handed to the guard at the main gate. (Only access)
  • No cash will be accepted at the gate
  • Actual ride times must be pre booked (during working hours) with Tim (082 567 5746) or Lizzy (073 689 3711) or by email to: icb@inandaclub.co.za – and wait for confirmation from us. (Please do not try to arrange this on Facebook, email or phone/message ONLY)
  • All people MUST wear masks – particularly when at the gate.
  • All people entering ICB MUST be sanitized – even if you have to remove your gloves or dismount. (You can make use of the mounting block in the sand arena at the gate.)
  • All people entering ICB MUST have their temperatures taken – anyone above 37.5 will unfortunately be refused entry and reported.
  • Only 6 visiting riders on the property at any one time, this is why pre booking is so important!
  • Riders will be allowed to stay on the premises for a maximum of 2 hours.
  • If you have grooms with you, they must stay with your vehicle  and not go to other people.
  • all people coming in (including groom) must sanitize, take temperature and details must be filled in.
  • One on one lessons only
  • Strictly NO riding in sand arenas, polo field or show grounds please.
  • No dogs allowed with riders and non-members.
  • All regular COVID 19 prevention procedures must be observed, in particular social distancing.

The tickets:

Tickets are available to be purchased at the ICB office, please contact 073 689 3711 (Lizzy) or 082 567 5747 (Tim).  You can also request a booklet via email to icb@inandaclub.co.za – we will send you banking details to avoid cash payments.  Each booklet consists of 6 tickets, one ticket per rider at a time.

The number of cases are increasing rapidly and sadly so are the related deaths.
